I want to be able to record sound on my MD player/walkman, and eventualy add it to my films. However I'm worried about it being in sync. Would i be able to sync it, or would i need a special recorder? and if so what equipment would i need?

I read, in a forum, about someone ataching an MD player to their camera and having it synced. would i need a sound camera or are there sync-able non sound cameras, and would any sound camera, ie an ordinary Chinon 20PXL or B & H filmsonic do?
